Autumn♥

We keep saying this from year to year, but... really, I can't believe it's October already! Yet, it's still the best, the golden, part of Autumn, -- the time to make the most out of outdoor fun & romance and savor cozy privacy of our homes, to be contemplative, reflective and... crafty!
In this post just pictures [not mine:] on anything i love this Autumn season!

↑...I am in the mood right now for this kind of scenery! [image via tumblr] The water mirror circled by the thinning forest in ochre tones, and the slightest presence of fog... And, if you look close, there is even a sensation of soft sunshine penetrating from above through the cloudy shroud.

↑...Delightful time, when you are at home and can do whatever you love! For me, it is reading books and leafing ecstatically through colourful home:garden:cooking:craft mags, painting, crafting, listening to fav music, indulging in food and having at-home spa time for massage and bodycare treats!   [image via tumblr]

↑...While the weather is still favourable, it's such a pleasure to hop on a train or set off on a bicycle journey! We are also so much keen to take an intercity bus and go exploring new places! So exciting and romantic, always! [images via tumblr]

↓ ...sometimes, i like the idea of painting nails in different colours. And if i do this, i stick to not more than two colours, but here every nail is painted differently which looks interesting, too. And, you see the ring? I guess, it's amber, a very Autumn-ish gemstone and one of those i'm feeling my growing interest to! ↓-[image credits:1 + 2 stylemepretty picnic set] uncredited images are via TUMBLR]]

Now, sharing my bucket list of things I want to do this Autumn:

2. READ ENGLISH CLASSICS + ENGLISH DETECTIVE STORIES + anything about VICTORIAN:EDWARDIAN ENGLAND
3. LISTEN to the golden voices of BING CROSBY and SAM BROWNE

By the way, a song "KAD DODJE OKTOBAR" by a Bosnian singer Hari Varešanović is right to the point with its title saying "When October comes." His another song that i love very much is "KAO DOMINE." Enjoy beautiful music from HARI.MATA.HARI in my YT playlist here.
Have an amazing Autumn! Till the soonest! ツ

Apricot Pudding

The idea of making a pudding has been on my mind for a long time. So, last Saturday I felt like it was the right day to try my first pudding recipe -- a super easy and marvellously tasty, as it has turned out to be, the APRICOT or PEACH PUDDING.  I've tried both versions and the one with the juicy peaches came out even much better. Every bite was literally melting in the mouth...
I found it a bit puzzling for myself to clearly define what kind of dish the pudding really is. If you search for pudding recipes, it seems there are thousands of them, you'll see that they are all different - baked, steamed, boiled, creamy. Yet, all of them... pudding! There are even gelatine puddings which are specially popular in US and Canada. Puddings are not even always sweet, by the way!
So, let's just have in mind that pudding is both a multifaceted dessert and a savory as well. Ok, theory is interesting, but let's better move on to the yummy practice ツ
YOU WILL NEED:
peaches or apricots -- 6 pcs
butter -- 135g
flour -- 120g
sugar -- 180g + 3 tbsp
eggs -- 2 pcs
vanilla extract -- 1/2 tsp
LET's MAKE IT:
1. Cut the peaches into halves and remove the stones. Put the peaches in a pot, add 4 tbsp water, 3 tbsp sugar, vanilla extract. You might find it more convenient to simmer the peaches by portions.
2. Leave the peaches to simmer over slow fire until they become soft.
3. Now, preheat the oven to 150C.
4. Pound 125g of butter with 180g of sugar, add flour. Beat the eggs and add them into the dough. Mix it all very well.
5. Grease the baking mold with a small quantity of butter, lay out the peaches and pour the dough over.
6. Bake for ab. 30 min.

Delicious Autumn Salad

My previous post was meant to provide you with vitamins for the soul, and now it's time to get some real ones! I'd like to share a super satisfying salad recipe that I invented myself a while ago. I called it Khizaan{urdu} = Autumn salad, as it consists of a few fruits and veggies we may find in abundance this season.
The very first time when I did this, by 'mistake' I put, seemingly, way too much ingredients. Believe me, much more than two persons, even with good appetites, could really finish! ツ So, having glanced at a huge bowl in front of us, we supposed to cope with the half and store the rest up for the next time meal.
But, actually, I can't even say we were eating this salad, -- drinking would be the right word, thus juicy it was! We ate everything and didn't get enough!

BY THE WAY, THIS SALAD CONTRIBUTES TO : beautiful skin and hair /CARROTS/ ; lowering cholesterol level and cleansing of toxins /APPLES/ ; filling your organism with powerful antioxidants /GRAPES/ ; toning up and speeding up metabolism /RUCCOLA/!
