Cottage style Christmas♥

... as i keep telling, even the most beautiful designer decorations can't give a truly homey feel as the old world style does. So, here's more inspiring ideas that caught my eye showing cottage style Christmas. Happy, cozy, triumphant, peaceful and energyzing -- a bit of everything in each place! [images uncredited via google search]
... some old castle atmosphere bringing more solemnity to the holiday areas.

...even spaces done in a scarce colour palette may look very welcoming if the wood plays the lead role! Beige tones and occasional greens are enough for a pleasant, cozy atmosphere.

Christmas spirit in the house

...here's my collection of images depicting a special atmosphere in the house in a warm anticipation of magical holidays...
... LOT's OF THINGS TO DO TO BE READY BY THE FESTIVE DAY: tidying up the rooms, and arrange a cozy nook, or several ones, with lots of cushions, warm plaids and festive textiles beautiful to touch. Checkerboard patterns add some traditional English style charm. Place festive decorations everywhere you can see them, and light up scented candles.
Prepare gifts for the dear ones and think over creative gift wrappings... [left]-a dress via EFFORTLESS ANTHROPOLOGIEANTHROPOLOGIE gift wrapping paper.
...i am loving these two rooms, and just pretty every detail that is seen here! The soft winter light streaming from the windows envelopes the lounge areas with an aura of peacefulness! I'd nestle up among the fat cushions with my books, and mags, and yummy yums and would not get out from this little world of Coziness for hours!)) [period living mag]
...think out the Christmas menue, and a festive table setting! Meanwhile, start baking your fav cookies or try out new festive recipes, and let the house be filled with fabulous scents of baked creations..! + a recipe to try -- WHITE CHOCOLATE & PEPPERMINT CHRISTMAS WREATH COOKIES from FOODIE CRUSH.
... Red & White Christmas is something so very much Scandinavian! The freshness & joy, -- i'm loving the feeling it gives! These images↕ were quite hard to find, but, finally, they are what i absolutely love!
